เหอ ๆ ช่วงนี้ผมจับปลาหลายมือทำหลายอย่าง แวะเล่นก็หลายที่ เมลล์ส่วนตัวแทบไม่ได้เปิดเลย เมื่อครู่เพิ่งนึกออกว่าเมลล์เราเองไม่ได้เปิดเสียนาน เปิดมาทีขยะเต็ม :(
ก็มีเมลล์ของ Prof. Tom Osler ที่ผมเคยเขียนบทความร่วมด้วยเมื่อสักปีกว่า ๆ แล้ว ถ้าใครเข้าบอร์ดมาตลอดจะเห็นว่าช่วงนั้น ผมเอามาโม้ให้ฟังอยู่บ่อย ๆ :cool: มาวันนี้พออ่าน โห.. สุดยอด บก.ที่รับบทความไปพี่แกเล่นทำหายและก็ลาออกไปซะแล้วงั้น เหอ ๆ ไม่รับผิดชอบเลย :nooo:
ไม่มีอะไรก็เอามาให้อ่านกันดูเล่น ๆ น้องที่ยังไม่เก่งภาษาอังกฤษอ่านอาจจะได้สำนวนแนวจดหมาย ใครที่ปึ้กแล้วก็คงอ่านสบาย ๆ แต่สำหรับผมไวยากรณ์ก็ยังมั่ว ๆ เหมือนเดิม :yum: แต่ฝรั่งก็คงเข้าใจนั่นล่ะนะ ไม่งั้นคงคุยกันไม่รู้เรื่อง 555 สำหรับทอมก็โรคเริ่มถามไถ่แล้ว :cry:
ปล. ฝากถามคนที่เก่งภาษาอังกฤษ กับมีความรู้ด้านการแพทย์นิดหน่อย คือ โรค heart arythmia ผมเปิดดิคบอก หัวใจเต้นไม่สม่ำเสมอ แล้วมันโรคอะไรหว่า ... นี่ก็อีกคำเหมือนกัน implanted defrillator ใครรู้ว่าหมายถึงอะไร ช่วยบอกผมทีครับ.:please:

It has been more than a year since I last wrote to you. You will recall that we submitted a joint paper to "The College Mathematics Journal" in September of 2004. This was submitted as a "Clasroom Capsule", which is a short note. I tried to reach the editor for these items several times, both by email and by phone, but he never answered me. Finally I contacted the main editor of the journal, and he just told me that the previous editor found that he could not keep up with his work and resigned.
He asked that I resubmit the paper. So we lost almost 1.5 years! This is a very respected journal, and probably the most read journal of its type in the world. (Journal for professors teaching the first two years of College mathematics.) I have not sent them the paper again yet, since I am getting ready to go to the Annual Meeting of the American Mathematical Society in Texas later this week. I will give a talk there on continued fractions.
I am now 65 years old, and both my wife Kathy and I had very serious health issues this year. My wife has cancer, but is finally responding well to her teatment. I blacled out twice due to a heart arythmia. I now have an implanted defrillator. Getting old is not fun.

Hi Dragon,
I sent another copy of our paper to the new editor of the Classroom Capsules section of The College Mathematics Journal. The previous editor failed to do his job. So we are starting from scratch again.
