สงสัยตรง Homotopy ครับ
 

ผมอ่านหนังสือเรื่อง Fibre bundle ที่มันใช้พีชคณิตลีมาอธิบายการสลับกลุ่มของเวกเตอร์บนแทนเจนบันเดิล แล้วมีนิยามในบทนึงเกี่ยวกับฮอโมโทปี ประมาณว่าต้องเอา Space X ไป cross กับ I ทำไมต้องเอาไป ดำเนินการกับ I ครับ

I = [0,1] เป็นตัวแทนของเวลาครับ
เมื่อเวลาเริ่มต้น เราอยู่ที่สถานะหนึ่ง
จากนั้นก็ค่อยๆเปลี่ยนสถานะนั้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง
จนไปจบที่อีกสถานะหนึ่ง

ตัวอย่าง Example น่าจะเกี่ยวกับการหาค่าขีดสุด พึงปราถนา !

In mathematics, the unit interval is the closed interval [0,1], that is,
the set of all real numbers that are greater than or equal to 0
and less than or equal to 1.

It is often denoted I (capital letter I). In addition to its role in real analysis,
the unit interval is used to study homotopy theory in the field of topology.

Properties

The unit interval is a complete metric space, homeomorphic to
the extended real number line.
As a topological space, it is compact, contractible, path connected
and locally path connected.
The Hilbert cube is obtained by taking a topological product of
countably many copies of the unit interval.

Formally, a homotopy between two continuous functions f and g
from a topological space X to a topological space Y is defined to be
a continuous function H:X\times [0,1] to Y from the product of the space X
with the unit interval [0, 1] to Y such that H(x,0)=f(x)
and H(x,1)=g(x) for all x members of X.

If we think of the second parameter of H as time then
H describes a continuous deformation of f into g:
at time 0 we have the function f and at time 1 we have the function g.

We can also think of the second parameter as a "slider control" that
allows us to smoothly transition from f to g as the slider moves from 0 to 1,
and vice versa.
