$B(X,Y) = \{ T:X \rightarrow Y \; \; |\; \; \exists M >0, \; \; \|Tx\|\leq M\| x\|\}.$
Theorem : Let $X$ be a Banach space, $Y$ be a normed linear space and $T\in B(X,Y)$. Then $T^{-1}\in B(Y,X)$ if and only if $\overline{im T} = Y $ and there exists $c>0$ such that $\| Tx\| \geq c\|x\|$.
$(\Rightarrow )$ Let $y\in Y$. Then there exists $x\in X$ such that $x = T^{-1}y$. Hence, $y=Tx$. Since $X$ is a Banach space, There exists a sequence $x_n$ which converges to $x$. Thus, \[ y=Tx = T\left( \lim_{n\rightarrow \infty}x_n\right) = \lim_{n\rightarrow \infty}Tx_n\]
We have $y\in \overline{im T}$, since $Tx_n$ which converges to $y$ is a sequence in im $T$. Since $y$ is arbitrary in $Y$, $\overline{im T} = Y $
