Let $A_1,A_2,...,A_9$ be the vertices of the nonagon (in counterclockwise order). Thus, $a=[A_i,A_{i+1}], b = [A_i,A_{i+2}]$, and $d = [A_i,A_{i+4}]$ (indices are considered modulo 9). Let P be a point on $A_1A_5$ such that $[A1,P] = a$. Therefore, $A1, A2,$ and $P$ form an equilateral triangle (because the size of the angle $A_5 A_1 A_2$ is 60 degrees). Thus, $[A_2,P] = a$. This means $A_2 A_3 P$ is an isosceles triangle with $[A_2,P] = a = [A_2,A_3]$. Consequently, the size of the angle $A_2 P A_3$ is 50 degrees, leaving the angle $A_5 P A_3$ to be 180-50-60 = 70 degrees. Since the angle $A_1 A_5 A_3$ is of 40 degrees, then the triangle $A_5 A_3 P$ is an isosceles. Therefore, $d = [A_1,A_5] = [A_1,P]+[P,A_5] = a+b$.
ปล. อาจต้องนั่งวาดตามนิดนึงนะครับ แล้วจะเห็นว่ามันเป็นจริง
