เนื่องจาก $\Gamma\left(\dfrac{1}{2}\right)=\dfrac{\sqrt{\pi}}{2}$
แต่ $\Gamma\left(\dfrac{1}{2}\right)=\left(\dfrac{1}{2}\right)!$ ตามนิยาม
ดังนั้น $\left(\dfrac{1}{2}\right)!=\dfrac{\sqrt{\pi}}{2}$
