The location discretisation error $d_{i+1}$ expresses the deviation of the exact value $y(x)$
from the result of the integration method in only one step
$$d_{i+1}:=y(x_{i+1})-y(x_i)-h \cdot \Phi (x_i,y(x_i),h).$$
Actually, the global error $g_i:=y(x_i)i-y_i$, after several integration steps, is
important to compare with the exact solution. Without derivation an estimation is
$$|g_n|\leqslant \dfrac{D}{hC}e^{nhC}$$
where $x_n=x_0+nh, C>0$ is a constant and ${max}_{1\leqslant i \leqslant n} |d_i|\leqslant D$. The maximum of the
local discretisation errors is the crucial value.
