-อัพขึ้นเว็บฝากไฟล์ให้ดาวน์โหลดกันเร็ว ๆ หนังสือเป็นร้อยปีแบบนี้ เรื่องลิขสิทธิ์ก็ไม่น่าจะมีแล้วนะครับ

- อ่านเยอะ ๆ แล้วนำมาใช้ตอบคำถามในเว็บครับ.

- อ่านเยอะ ๆ จนบรรลุแล้วนำไปเขียนหนังสือหรือเขียนบทความ ฯลฯ

- อ่านเยอะ ๆ แล้วนำไปสอนคนอื่นครับ.

ผมอายุ 10 เศษๆ ขอร่วมด้วยครับได้ป่ะครับ

อายุแค่ 10 เศษๆ แปลว่า เกิดไม่ทันยุคของ Hall เหมือนกับผมเลยซิครับ

ยินดีมากเลยหากมีคนร่วมแรงร่วมใจเยอะๆ ในการแปล Higher algebra เป็นภาษาไทย เพื่อให้
คนรักคณิตศาสตร์ของบ้านเราได้อ่านหนังสือดีๆ เพิ่มขึ้นอีกซักเล่มหนึ่ง

ในหนังสือ Higher algebra มีอยู่ 35 บท (บทสุดท้าย XXXV) หากเราหาอาสาสมัครได้ซัก 7 คน
แล้วแบ่งคนละ 5 บทที่ต่อเนื่องกัน (เพราะบทที่ต่อกันมักมีเนื้อหาและใช้คำศัพท์คล้ายกัน) ก็ได้
หรือยิ่งถ้าได้อาสาสมัครนับสิบๆ คน แล้วแบ่งกันซักคนละบทสองบท ก็ยิ่งสบายขึ้นไปอีก จากนั้น
ค่อยหาอาสาสมัครอีกทีมหนึ่ง ที่ช่วยรวบรวมและเกลาภาษาให้เนื้อหาถูกต้องและเข้ากันมากขึ้น
ผมคิดว่าชาว MC ต้องทำได้แน่นอนครับ!

ผมตั้งใจเลือกเล่มนี้เพราะว่า 1. เป็นหนังสือที่ดีมาก 2. ไม่มีลิขสิทธิ์แล้ว แปลได้เต็มที่ดี
หนังสือคณิตศาสตร์เล่มอื่นที่น่าแปลเป็นไทยให้อ่านกันทั่วๆ ยังมีอีกเยอะมาก แต่เอาเล่มนี้ก่อน!

เอาเป็นว่าผมอาสาแปล 2 บทสุดท้าย พร้อมกับโจทย์ท้ายเล่ม 300 ข้อ (รวมประมาณ 70 หน้า) คือ

น่าเสียดายที่เล่ม School Geometry ที่หมดลิขสิทธิ์แล้ว มีแค่ Part I-IV ไม่ได้ครบ 6 Parts
ไม่งั้นจะชวนแปลอีกซักเล่ม เพราะของไทยที่เคยแปลนั้น แปลแต่ครึ่งเล่มหลังที่ใช้เรียน ม.ปลาย เท่านั้น

ผมคาดว่าโครงการนี้อาจลากยาว 2-3 ปี แต่ก็ไม่น่ามีปัญหาอะไร พวกเราค่อยๆ ทำไปเรื่อยๆ
ทุกบทที่มีคนแปลเสร็จ ก็มีประโยชน์ในตัวมันเองอยู่แล้ว แม้ว่าจะยังไม่ครบทั้งเล่ม

เดิมผมกะว่าจะตั้งกระทู้ใหม่ เพื่อเริ่มงานแปล แต่คิดดูแล้วชื่อกระทู้นี้ก็ ขลังดี! น่าจะโพสต์งานแปล

ไปบางส่วนแล้ว (ทั้งบทมีอยู่แค่ 3 หน้า) แต่พอลงมือแปลให้อ่านเข้าใจจริงๆ ก็แต่งสำนวนยากน่าดู!
