ให้ $X$ เป็นปริภูมิเชื่อมโยงเฉพาะที่ และ $A\subseteq X$ เป็นเซตใด ๆ ถ้า $Bdr$ $A$ เป็นปริภูมิเชื่อมโยงเฉพาะที่ จงพิสูจน์ว่า $\overline{A} $ เป็นปริภูมิเชื่อมโยงเฉพาะที่

$Bdr A=$ boundary of $A$

ปริภูมิเชื่อมโยงเฉพาะที่ก็คือ Locally Connected Space และ Bdr A ก็คือ Boundary ของ A ครับ

ถามต่ออีกนิดครับว่า ไม่มีเงื่อนไขบนเซต $A$ เลยเหรอครับ เช่น $A$ is locally connected เป็นต้น

First, we will show that every open subset of $X$ is locally connected.
Let $V$ be open in $X$. Pick any $x\in V$ and a neighborhood $V'$ of $x$ in $V$ . Note that $V'$ is also open in $X$ since $V$ is open. Since $X$ is locally connected and $V'$ is a neighborhood of $x$, there is an open connected set $U\subseteq V'$ containing $x$. Thus $V$ is locally connected. It is easy to show that a disjoint union of two locally connected subspaces of $X$ is again locally connected. Observe that $\overline{A}$ is a disjoint union of $int(A)$ and $Bd(A)$. Since $int(A)$ is open, it is locally connected. Thus $\overline{A}$ is locally connected since $int(A)$ and $Bd(A)$ are locally connected.
