G-metric space
Definition Let $X\neq \emptyset$. Suppose that $G: X \times X \times X \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^+$ satisfies:
a) $G(x,y,z) = 0\Longleftrightarrow x = y = z$; b) $\forall x, y \in X, G(x,x, y)>0$, with $x \neq y$; c) $\forall x, y, z \in X, G(x,x,y) \leq G(x,y, z)$, with $y \neq z$; d) $G(x,y,z) = G(x, z,y) = G(y, z,x) = \dots$, e) $\forall x, y, z, a \in X, G(x,y,z) \leq G(x,a,a) + G(a,y, z)$. Then $G$ is called a $G$-metric on $X$ and $(X,G)$ is called a $G$-metric space. Proposition Let $X$ be a $G$-metric space. Then the following are equivalent: 1) $\{x_n\}$ is $G$-convergent to $x$. 2) $G(x_n,x_n,x)\rightarrow 0$ as $n\rightarrow \infty$. 3) $G(x_n,x,x)\rightarrow 0$ as $n\rightarrow \infty$. 4) $G(x_n,x_m,x)\rightarrow 0$ as $n,m\rightarrow \infty$. Lemma Let $X$ be a $G$-metric space. Then $\{x_n\}$ is $G$-Cauchy sequence $\Longleftrightarrow$ $G(x_n,x_m,x_l) \rightarrow 0$ as $n,m,l \rightarrow \infty$.

Definition A sequence $\{x_n\}$ in a $G$-metric space $X$ is:
(i) a $G$-Cauchy sequence if, for any $e$ > 0, there is an $n_0 \in N$ (the set of natural numbers) such that for all $n, m,l \geq n_0$,$G(x_n,x_m,x_l) < e$, (ii) a $G$-convergent sequence if, for any $e > 0$, there is an $x \in X$ and an $n_0 \in N$, such that for all $n, m \geq n_0$, $G(x,x_n,x_m) < e$.

จากข้อ $e)$ $G(x_n,x_m,x_l)\leq G(x_n,x_m,x_m)+G(x_m,x_m,x_l)$

สมมติ $G(x_n,x_m,x_m)\rightarrow 0$ จะแสดงว่า $G(x_n,x_m,x_l)\rightarrow 0$ โดยข้อ e) จะได้ว่า $G(x_n,x_m,x_l)\leq G(x_n,x_m,x_m)+G(x_m,x_m,x_l)$

Definition Let $E$ is a Banach space and let $M$ be a non empty set. Suppose that the mapping
$d : M \times M\rightarrow E$ satisfies: 1) $0 < d(x, y)$ for all $x, y \in M$ and $d(x, y) = 0$ if and only if $x = y$; 2) $d(x, y) = d(y, x)$ for all $x, y \in M$; 3) $d(x, y) \leq d(x, z) + d(y, z)$ for all $x, y, z \in M$. Then, $d$ is called a cone metric on $M$ and $(M, d)$ is called a cone metric space.

1) $0 < \|d(x, y)\|$ for all $x\neq y \in M$ and $d(x, y) = 0$ if and only if $x = y$; 2) $d(x, y) = d(y, x)$ for all $x, y \in M$; 3) $\|d(x, y)\| \leq \|d(x, z)\| + \|d(y, z)\|$ for all $x, y, z \in M$.
