ข้อแรกผมแปลงค่า $b$ ได้เป็น
$\frac{\sin 3\theta+\sin 4\theta +\sin 5\theta}{\cos 3\theta+\cos 4\theta +\cos 5\theta}=\frac{(\sin 3\theta+\sin 5\theta )+\sin 4\theta}{(\cos 3\theta+\cos 5\theta) +\cos 4\theta } $ $=\frac{2\sin 4\theta \cos \theta+\sin 4\theta}{2\cos 4\theta \cos \theta +\cos 4\theta} $ $=\frac{\sin 4\theta(2 \cos \theta+1)}{\cos 4\theta(2 \cos \theta +1)}$ $=\tan 4\theta$ $\sin 2\theta=\sin \theta+\sin 3\theta$ $\sin 2\theta=2\sin 2\theta \cos \theta$ $\sin 2\theta(2\cos \theta-1)=0$ $\sin 2\theta=0$ หรือ $2\cos \theta-1=0$ $0< \theta < \frac{\pi}{2} \rightarrow 0< \theta < \pi$ ดังนั้น $\sin 2\theta \not= 0$ จะได้ว่า $2\cos \theta-1=0 \rightarrow \cos \theta=\frac{1}{2} $ $\sin \theta =\frac{\sqrt{3} }{2},\tan \theta= \sqrt{3} $ และ $\theta=\frac{\pi}{3} $ $a=\frac{\tan \theta-\tan 2\theta}{\cos \theta-\cos 2\theta} $ $a=\frac{\tan \frac{\pi}{3}-\tan \frac{2\pi}{3}}{\cos \frac{\pi}{3}-\cos \frac{2\pi}{3}} $ $a=\frac{2\tan \frac{\pi}{3}}{2\cos \frac{\pi}{3}}=2\sqrt{3} $ $b=\tan \frac{4\pi}{3} =-\tan \frac{\pi}{3} =-\sqrt{3}$ $a^4+b^4=9+16(9)=17(9)=153$

2.$16\sin^3 \theta \cos^2 \theta=2\sin \theta+\sin 3\theta-\sin 5\theta$
$2\sin \theta+\sin 3\theta-\sin 5\theta=(\sin \theta+\sin 3\theta)-(\sin 5\theta-\sin \theta)$ $=2\sin 2\theta \cos \theta-2\cos 3\theta \sin 2\theta$ $=2\sin 2\theta( \cos \theta-\cos 3\theta)$ $=2\sin 2\theta(-2\sin 2\theta \sin(-\theta))$ $=(2\sin 2\theta)^2\sin \theta$ $=(4\sin \theta \cos \theta)^2\sin \theta$ $=16\sin^3 \theta \cos^2 \theta$ $\sin 3\theta=(\sin 2\theta+\sin \theta)(2\cos \theta-1)$ $\sin 3\theta=\sin (\theta+2\theta)$ $=\sin 2\theta \cos \theta+\cos 2\theta \sin \theta$ $=\sin 2\theta \cos \theta+(2\cos^2 \theta -1) \sin \theta$ $=\sin 2\theta \cos \theta+2\cos^2 \theta \sin \theta -\sin \theta$ $=2\sin 2\theta \cos \theta -\sin \theta$ $(\sin 2\theta+\sin \theta)(2\cos \theta-1)=2\sin 2\theta \cos \theta -\sin \theta$ ถูกทั้งสองข้อ

อีกวิธีหนึ่งที่ใช้ได้ในห้องสอบคือ สมมุติค่ามุม $\theta$ เช่นเท่ากับ $\frac{\pi}{4}$ แล้วทำให้สมการที่ให้ตรวจว่าเท่ากันไหมจริงหรือเปล่า ทริคนี้จำมาจากท่านหยินหยาง
